TUFANGANJ ADMINISTRATION TAKING STEPS FOR FLOOD VICTIMS

Webdesk, TNI Tufanganj, 22nd August, 2015: Tufanganj is facing flood situation due to heavy rainfall. The town’s Ward No 05 is highly affected due to the rising waters. The residents of the area were evacuated to nearby flood relief camps. Those relief camps were started for the flood victims in various places of the town especially in the school buildings. The SDO of Tufanganj, Mr. Palden Sherpa & B.D.O of Tufanganj Block 1, Mr. Raju Lama along with other officials visited the affected areas immediately after receiving the news. Local people also arranged all possible help to the flood affected victims. The major affected areas of Tufanganj Block 1 are Dhadial GP area & Balabhut.
